Preschool Spring Program

Laney had her preschool program today, The Three Billy Goats Gruff. It was precious! Of course, I took my camera. Guess what? Laney hid behind a friend the whole time so I couldn't get a shot of her! It figures!! Oh well! I guess you can't have pictures of everything despite how hard you try. I am sure she is snickering to herself!!!

You gotta love those girl getaways!

I went to Destin with Lisa and Melissa this weekend. We had the best time!! We did a little shopping the first night we were there. We had dinner at the Crab Trap close to the condo. Melissa made some mean peach martinis! The next day I, of course, could not sleep in so I went on a photo spree around the premises! I am really loving manual! We headed to the beach that morning and glistened in the sun until about 3:30. We headed back to the condo to have a little snack and "freshen" up! We had a good laugh at the sunburn patterns on Lisa and Melissa. Somehow I did not get that much sun...strange how that happens! Of course, we had to have chocolate martinis to get the night started! That night we went to Baytown Wharf to have dinner at Graffitis!! It is so good! We went to Rum Runners to listen to the dualing pianos as well as giggle at a lot of drunk bachelorette parties. Overall, it was a great trip!! It was too short but, I missed my family! Funny how that is...you need to get away but you miss them like crazy when you are gone! I have to say though that I love spending time with Melissa and Lisa! It is so good to just laugh until it hurts!

Browders added to their family...

Don't get excited!!! We are not pregnant! We have some new feathered friends though! On Friday, Tucker sounded the alarm at the window...we thought Lisa had parked in front of our house. We were pleasantly surprised to see these two friends in the front yard! Jessi and I went out on the steps to say hello! Jessi was mesmerized! They were very friendly! They loved our tree stump in the front yard. They stayed for about 30 minutes and then waddled up the street.

Beachbound!

Mommy is heading to Destin to have a fun girl's weekend. I am so excited! I am going to miss these girlies though! At breakfast, Jessi looked over at me with her "look" and said "I love you Momma" (with a mouth full of muffin). She melted me right there. Laney gave me the biggest hug before she went to school. Keith is psyched because he bought a chainsaw and plans to cut up our oak that fell in the front. Funny how he does that when I am not home!! Be careful, Keith!! He is seriously in love with the chainsaw. He called it his "baby" this morning!! AHHHHH!! I will miss you guys!! Kisses!

It's potty time...

Jessica is obsessed with the potty right now. She loves the wooden potty from the playhouse. She loves to have her dolls go to the potty. Even fairies have to put on their big girl panties and deal with it!

Photography Class 3...

I am becoming addicted to photography. The more I learn the more excited I get. I need more time to practice but that will have to happen every so often. It is amazing to see what you can do with that camera. I really want to take another class in May that revolves around Photoshop! Why is it that I can't seem to find an inexpensive hobby? At least, this hobby directly benefits my girls! They will be well documented!

Just Playing...

We have loved the sunshine. We played outside this afternoon. The girls played outside this morning with the Grandmas while I was working. They have had their fill of sunshine today. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in our new bubble blowers. They didn't really blow bubbles well. Laney is planning on writing the Easter Bunny a note to tell him that "They blowed"! (Translation) She meant that she had to blow and blow but nothing came out. I am sure that the Easter Bunny will be able to interpret.

Jess' Best Friend

This is Jess' best friend. She loves to walk around with him in tow. He is bruised and scraped...well loved...from his many outings. He is a trooper!

Snow White...

Laney was so excited to hear that Snow White was at Mt. Laurel; however, she would not talk to her and even look at her. Snow White snuck up on her so we could get a quick pictures. Subliminally, she was sending her a message. Can you guess what it was?

Mt. Laurel Spring Festival

I am very excited! Tomorrow is the Mt. Laurel Spring Festival. It will be my first time to be a vendor as Color Me Happy custom paintings! I am praying for sunshine and great sales! We are setting up early. The festival begins at 11:00. It will be fun to meet other vendors and make new friends! My girls will be coming to enjoy the festivities with GG and Papa! Laney is going to be so excited about Snow White's tea party! Jessi will be in love from the get go! I hope to see you there!

More Pictures...

A Quick Trip to Botanical Gardens...

Dinah and I decided to take a trip to Botanical Gardens today. All I can say is...thank God for Dinah! Trying to use my camera in manual mode with my wild children was enough to push me over the edge. It is so hard to get the settings right when it is hard to tell how the exposure turned out on the display. Laney loves to run the other way. Jessi is just happy to run! Amazingly, I got a couple good shots; however, several did not turn out that I really wanted to have! I miss Auto program!! Maybe I need to stick to flowers and fixed objects in manual. I have great ideas for kids; however, the moment is too quick for manual! You gotta catch them on the fly. Somehow I don't think my teacher is going to like this revelation!

Jessica Monet

Jessica finally has decided that she likes to color! She worked on her first materpiece completely on her own. Usually, Mommy is encouraging her to color. Uncle Adam was the lucky recipient of her first artwork!

Photography Class 2...catch them in action

I had a few minutes today after working with a kiddo to take some shots! These ducks were my friends and loyal subjects. Aren't they cute? My job was to freeze frame them even though they were protesting having their picture taken. They were ruffling feathers, flapping wings, and running around like crazy. Somehow I didn't get the picture...well, actually I did, tee hee! I also practices on some water running. I am going to keep working on that one. I am anxious to try my new tricks on the girls...Ring Around the Rosy here we come!

Timber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Browder house had a little excitement last night. One of our large Oak trees decided to make a run for it. Who could blame him...those winds were scary? Luckily, the tree landed across the driveway and did not hit the house! Thank you God! Our neighbors were wonderful. At 6:30 a.m, they helped up cut up the part blocking the driveway so that we could get in and out. Another neighbor brought us some Irises. Very touching!

Easter is such a special time...

Today was a great day! We started out the morning with a visit from the Easter Bunny. He brought two baskets full of goodies that made the girls giddy with glee. He hid eggs all over the house! Jessi managed to open four eggs before we left for church. Her face was stained with jellybean delight. We celebrated Jesus with friends and Grandparents at church! After church, we took Daddy to Waffle House as his Easter treat. (Daddy loves Waffle House, Mommy despises it...however I took one for the team today and was very happy to do it ;-)) Laney and Jess both demolished Mommy's waffles. Surprise, surprise!! The world's pickiest eaters like Waffle House! When we got home, we went on a major egg hunt. Laney's basket was busting. Jessi felt it was more important to eat what was inside before we realized how much she had eaten. It is scary when they outfox you! Of course, we all settled down for a long Easter's nap to recharge for the family dinner at Richards' house. Once we got up, we went to Richards for dinner! That is my favorite part of holidays...being with family and friends...a great tradition at each holiday! The kids were all so happy to see each other! It is amazing to see how much they have all grown! As I watched them play, it brought back so many memories of playing at Richards' house as a child. I loved being there...my home away from home! I could have spent all day every day with Jennifer and Mike! I loved being with Nancy so much! It warms my heart to see her Grandchildren and my kiddos playing together and creating their own memories! What a spectacular day!! I am so blessed in so many ways!! I hope your day was wonderful as well!

Are these kids loved or what?
