Twinkle joins the family...

Our Elf on the Shelf is living large. We named Twinkle and welcomed him into our family at the beginning of December. Each night he goes to report to Santa. In the morning, we have to find him. He is one crazy elf!! So far, we found him at the top of the tree, watching TV, eating cake, dressed as a princess, swinging from the fan, and playing with the toilet paper!

Big Girl Bed~Huge Milestone

Where does the time go?? Jess is now in her big girl bed and doing a great job! She was super excited about her new bed. She plays in it all the time. In the morning, she gets up and gets toys to take back to bed. When I come in to get her, she tells me, "No, I want my bed!" Of course, she did have one skydiving experience. She did fall out the first night...somehow through a small space between the headboard and bedrail. Laney took 1 1/2 to fall out...Jess, a matter of hours. Definitely shows the difference between the two. :)

The Turkey Tango...

Laney had a Thanksgiving program this past week. It was precious!! She was an Indian this year. They had precious shirts and headbands! They sang several songs. She wasn't too interested in pictures however. Here are a couple...

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is to stay home with my girls for another year! After a week of sickness, it just makes me realize how much love they need right now. I cannot even imagine having to worry about work in the middle of caring for my babies!! I am so grateful for the time that I have had!

Feeling down...

I am feeling so bad for Laney!! I just want this flu to go away! I want my bouncy little girl back!

Quarantine!!

Laney was diagnosed with swine flu today. The Doctor asked if she had been snorting a lot. Ha! He should come to my house and be locked up with two grouchy kids fighting. Snort that! Sorry...had to vent a little. Hopefully, Laney can kick this fever in a couple of days. I am keeping the fingers crossed for the rest of us.

Laney's Birthday Bash!

On Saturday, Laney had a birthday party at JumpZone. The kids had a blast! They jumped, ran, and went down the slide until they just couldn't go anymore! I think the parents had a good time sliding too! :) We had pizza and My Little Pony (Sparkle Fireworks) cake. Poor Laney...that night she began to run a fever. We still have the fever! Yuck! She has been enjoying her new toys and crafts though!
