Our first evening in Chattanooga...

We had a great trip to Chattanooga. The first day we decided to just take our time, have lunch, go to the park, swim in the pool, and hang out at the hotel.

I just can't say enough about ballet!! Laney just shines! I really hope that it brings her a lot of happiness!

Laney's Ballet Performance

After a week of Sleeping Beauty dance camp, Laney was in love. On Friday, they had a performance. Laney did a beautiful job!! She was not shy at all! We were so touched! She just radiated happiness!!

Mommy is dragging...

I have had six photo shoots within the last four days! I still have three to go through Monday!! Somehow I was thinking that I was superhuman! I do have to say that I fell in love with Farmlinks today in Sylacauga!! Fabulous fabulous fabulous photo opportunity! Dear Lord, help me get through the next couple of days...and let the pictures be triumphant!! I want happy Mommies!

Jess' First Haircut..."Cut my hairs!"

Jess and Laney went to have their hair cut!! This was the first cut for Jess! She was a pro. She sat in the chair just like her big sister! She loved every minute of it!! I think the lollipop at the end was her favorite part though!

Sleeping Beauty Dance Camp Rocks!

Laney started Sleeping Beauty Dance Camp this week. She is in love!! On the first day, she taught Jess and I how to twirl. Today she told us that she met Aurora and got to touch her tutu...quite the celebrity status, you know. Laney is in absolute heaven! She has found her calling!

I am feeling the need to unload...

I want to get rid of lots and lots of stuff!! I hope I don't whisk my kids away too!

Great weekend...

Keith and I went to Georgia for the Cousins' weekend. We had a great time! Molly and Todd are great hosts! Lots of laughter, good food, and fun in the sun...hot tubbing after the sun went down. It was great to see everyone! The girls spent the night with both sets of Grandparents while we were gone! They had the best time. Laney informed me that "I just can't go home now." I hope they did not stress out the Grandparents too much! They fight like crazy now! They are making me turn gray! Any words of wisdom to reign in sibling rivalry?

Laney the Ballerina...

Laney had her first ballet class today! She absolutely loved it! She can't wait to go back next week!

My favorite part...

My favorite part of today was reading before nap. The three of us cuddled up in the chair in Jess' room. They both picked a book. We read Chicka Chick Boom Boom. Then Jess read it to us. Laney read us a princess story! We put Jess in bed and covered her up. As I shut her door, her head popped up and she said, "Loves my Mommy." Tucked Laney in her bed and she threw me 100 kisses! I came downstairs and collapsed on the couch in the warm glow of my girls' love!
